New York Public Library and beyond!

On Saturday I took the bus down 5th Ave. I went to the worlds largest Build-A-Bear, went into the famous Tiffany & Co, ate a hotdog from a vendor in front of Central Park, went to Bryant Park, found the Rockefeller Plaza, and went to the New York Public Library (there are dozen of branches all over the city, but this is the BIG one!) Patrick told me they had tours you could take, and I thought that was silly, but then I got there and decided I did want to take one. So I did.

One of the lions out front.
The NYPL. You can see both lions. Their names are Patience and Fortitude. Two virtues that all New Yorkers should have. It seems like every building in NY is getting worked on.
One of the fancy rooms in the lib.
Build-a-Bear!

The carrousel in Bryant Park.
One of the great reading rooms in the library.
The original Winnie-the-Pooh toys that A.A. Milne gave to his son will be back on display soon!
The have a Yankee exhibit there, from Daily Post pictures....I believe.

Tiffany & Co. Glorious! 6 floors!
Rockefeller Plaza.

They are working on this too.
